I'm still enjoying my allergy. Now complete with a rash all over my body. Yay... :sigh:

It snowed last night!!

On my 2 days off, and I needed it. Especially since at 11:20 am yesterday, I was sitting in the waiting room at the dentist, waiting to get my wisdom tooth pulled. By 11:20, I was in the chair with the topical numbing q-tip in my mouth, and by 11:40 I was getting numb after the 5 (yes, I need 5) heavy novocaine shots. My chin was numb, my right nostril, and right eye was numb. And, happily, so was the tooth. by 11:45 he was squirting yucky stuff in my mouth. The crud tasted horrible. By 11:50 he was pulling the tooth. And by 11:55 I was signing papers. And making my next appointment.
I've used 684$ of the 1200$ I get with my plan. I wish my math skills were good enough to figure out how much more I can do. It pays 80%. I can do app 640$, they pay 612$ and I have 3$ left over XD (love my math skills! punch #s into the calculator until they add up!) Of course, Ruka's plan covers me for the other 20% (up to I think 1000$), so I pay nada. Yippee. I'm going to get at least 2 more teeth done before the end of the year when it resets. Maybe even one more.

But now my stoopid mouf hurts.

Watched ep 1 of Scrap Teacher. Ryosuke, Daiki and Chinen are too cute =) Unfortunately, I laughed. And it hurt. That area where the tooth got pulled hurts. Wah! I should take some ibuprofen....

We got our deck done today. It's smaller than the last one, but covers the main part of the stairwell. They did not take the other deck, which they were supposed to have done. Grrr.

Don't wanna go to work tomorrow. Want vacation. 16 days to goooooooo~~~~

It's totally almost crunch time for school, which I'm hoping I can surivive a bit unscathed. Hopefully. We'll see. :\ I have a 10 page paper due on the 17, final on the 1st, and two 7 page papers due on the 3rd. Not to mention that i need to fix up some of my pieces for art, which I'm sure won't be too hard, seeing as I am me and totally have the attention span of a gnat and like to flit between subjects.

However, here's a good thing: I've been able to get a nice word cushion for NaNo! My total word count right now is 12, 330 which hopefully means that when I sit down and get all this studying/writing done that I'll be able to get my 50k in. Or over 50k at the rate I'm going, although I doubt it. I always have a few days of NaNo where I don't write a lick and instead sit and stare at my keyboard and will it to write itself. Mostly the thrid week, which doesn't help that I have a ton of projects due that week. So the thrid week is going to be a tad harder than it has been over the past few years. :\ But I will make it!

That's about it, just wanted to show off and complain. One of these days I'll actually break out the scanner and scan the few things that I can and post them on my deviantart since for one, most are way too big for my scanner and two, I just have been lazy in getting the drive to do it. :P

The revenge of the guinea pigs (at least presumably so). I'm ITCHING all over. It's driving me crazy. And my left eye is swollen and leaking. I actually had to pry it open this morning. There are places on the back of my head/neck that are swollen and hurt all the time like bruises from glasses (if I wore any). I just went to see a GP and he thinks it's an allergic reaction. I cleaned out the piggies' cage this Sunday morning, gave it a really hard scrubbing before my parents came to take it away. It's probably either from the dust that had gathered in there or from the cleaner I used (and usually don't). I got some antiallergikum I have to take daily and hope the itches let up.

\o/ Except none of that was actually written today. Yep, I totally slacked off and watched Paranormal Activity instead. Go, me! Oh well. I'm off tomorrow so I guess I can just play catch up with my word count then.

My opinion is that ‘standard’ time should be abolished, and we should all permanently have one time, and no movement allowed. My internal clock is already messed up six ways from Sunday. Boo standard time.

No Kamen Rider W today. Wah! Miss Philippe and Shotaro already! (Not the girl, never the girl). Hero Vision 34 has awesome shots of them. And a huge shinkenger article, as well. Want more W. Philippe is just too awesome. Suda Masaki is a real cutie-pie.

I didn’t get the good parking spot at work today, boo. About 3 times this week I’ve gotten the spot that’s right in front of the front door. Which is so awesome. I’m about 3 spots and 1 row away today. Only good thing about late starts is that there seem to be more spots. And truly, that is the ONLY thing good.

Thank God I finally found someone who'll build us a deck (or platform, anyway, don't need stairs) for a price I can (almost) afford. Too bad we still have a leak. -_-; Our savings account has never looked so pathetic.

Christina came over last night and we watched the last four episodes of Koishite Akuma that she was missing. It was fun, but I wish my wife had been there, too (she was stuck working her new crappy shift, sigh.)

My wrists are also crap these days, which is why you don't see me writing here often. I need what little lasting-power they've got for work and my fiction writing.

I loved the last two eps of Kamen Rider W that focused on Philippe and his OCDness. XD

I'm dying to see the next Shinkenger ep that has Ryunosuke and Chiaki tied together for the duration. XD XD

We watched Hidarime Tantei EYE with Yamada Ryosuke. He did a great job and the movie had a surprising twist. It was popular, so there's a possibility of a series. :D

I forget whether or not I've mentioned it before, but I won't be participating in NaNoWriMo this year. Not in any official way, anyway: I've already got a novel on the go from before November and I'd like to continue working on it rather than starting in on something new. I will be using the time to see just how far into it I can get, though :). Might even track it, just for fun.

Danielle IS doing NaNoWriMo this year, so good luck to her! I will be badgering her the whole way.

May I mention that I hate working weekends more than anything? I will, yes. I hate working weekends soooooooo much!!! I want to go home so bad! And it’s Hallowe’en night. I hate driving home at night, and even more on a Hallowe’en. Sigh.

One thing I haven’t mentioned is the shift change they’ve forced on me. Almost everybody has been moved to a mid-day shift start. So I start from 12PM to 2:30PM, meaning I get off 8:30PM to 11PM. Which, to me, means it’s a night shift. I also don’t get to see Ruka often enough any more, and I have to work weekends. Too much. Waaaaaayyy too much.

Getting dental work done, finally. Some may remember that I’m totally phobic of the dentist. I went in on my day off, Thursday, to get the filling replaced on a tooth. This tooth lost the filling back in July 22nd, 2008!!!! Wow! I went to get it fixed, but got a more annoying tooth fixed at that time. But as the tooth never hurt, I put it off. Finally I went in May, and got, again, another tooth taken care of. But this time, I got that tooth filled. It was not stress free, but it was the least problematic trip to the dentist ever. I mean it. Ever. Even cleanings and checkups put me to the shakes.
Of course, the back of my mouth hurts from all the needles and holding my mouth open for an hour (helped with a big rubber this, cause otherwise I’ll bite the guy accidentally.) They have to give me the whole load of novocain or it hurts too much. And yes, I still feel it when he drills.
I go in on my next day off to get a wisdom tooth out, and after that, 2 filling in one visit. I will do it. I get 1500$ of coverage a year, and I will use it! (80% from company A and 20% from company B, meaning free dental.)
Still scared, though…..

We’ve gotten more into the Johnny’s Entertainment Black Hole. JEBH for short ^^’
First it was Kat-Tun, and then Nakayama Yuma, and now it’s Hey! Say! Jump. Sigh. Ryo-chan is adorable, as is Dai-chan.
Ryosuke was in a special drama at the beginning of October. I hope they do a series out of it, and that he is in it. Also want to see more Yuma dramas. *nod nod*

For NaNo! Not really excited about Halloween this year, mostly because I have to work and I'm not at Youmacon at the dance. With the rest of the otaku and all that jazz that goes on at anime conventions and deal with Crystal Gardens. I hate those people. Because they always seem to think that they're the cream of the crop and therefore, can treat you like crap. Making me wish they'd run out of gas or something trivial and upsetting on the way home.

Anyway, totally not what this post is about. It's about NaNo which starts at midnight! And once again, I have something to do at the strike of midnight when it starts. Not that I should be complaining. The one year I didn't have anything to do, I "lost" so I guess that I should have expected this. It sucks that I can't just bring my laptop to work and sit in the office and write. Like my store manager who's going to be there all flippin' night is. I hate working end of the month.

Either way, totally downloaded the 'write or die' desktop edition for this year, mostly because at school, I'm lucky to get online at all so it's the best I can do. Not that I could really afford the 10 bucks, but whatever. It's mine now! ALL MINE.

So, that's pretty much it. Will be posting it to the usual sites like I do every year.

So my boss got bitched out today by our DM on my behalf. Because even though I'm suppose to be spending 35 hours a week in my department, I've only been getting 32-33 hours a week and two-three days are spent on register, which means that my back room is not in the shape it should be.

And we got a truck today and I had four buggies of stuff outside my apparel room and DM shows up and says "What's all this?! D: D: D:" Dude, we just had a massive truck, you stupid fucktard, this is my freight. You know. The shit that I've got to get out, even though you want me to get all of the fall/winter shit clearance that's packed up?

I am displeased, guys. VERY DISPLEASED. I've got 40 hours next week (because this is how it goes: payroll is cut back again. And again, and again. We get behind. DM shows up and is unhappy. Gives us better payroll for a couple of weeks. Then payroll is cut again. I think you get it). Unfortunately, on Saturday (HALLOWEEEEEN~) I have to work 8-5. I was going to dress up but, uh, guess not. My costume is too hot to wear and work for that long. :(

However, NaNoWriMo starts in a couple of days and I'm feeling ALRIGHT.

So, I've been really busy with school and stuff, as in I should actually be preparing for my Japanese presentation that's due tomorrow, but I can wait a little while longer to do that, mostly because it's a power point. And I rock the socks off power point presentations, although this will be the first time I play around with the Open Office one, because I am very, VERY poor right now due to the fact that WCCCD can suck my non-existent balls. They think that I haven't turned in my aide papers when I have, and they still haven't updated my account, which means I get to go bitch them out. But that's a whole different rant in itself.

Lets see. In other news, broke my headphone jack for my headphones. My computer is fine, the piece was stuck in the little input hole, but I don't think my poor headphones are going to work again. Which is okay, that just means I get my ghettofied ones with the tape holding the earpieces to the headband. I like those better anyway. Maybe that will be my NaNo goal. Reach 25,000 words, get a new pair of headphones.

Speaking of NaNo, just going to continue with last years, because there are 50,000 more words that story has, especially with the edits. So another year of YACAS! (yet another crack ass story for those that forgot the acronym.) Yay!

While we were at our dining room table with the guy, a gorgeous big ring-necked pheasant appeared in our yard and walked right up to our glass doors. It was less than six feet away from me and it took its time wandering around. God, it was beautiful!
