Big Brother's Watching (Prince of Tennis)

This is the result of a 15-minute prompt challenge that ran longer. The prompt is stated at the end of the fic. The setting is from a spanking RPG that includes characters from Prince of Tennis, X-Men and more all living in the same mansion. The PoT characters are based around my Changechildren AU fic, and so are not necessarily canon. Contains spanking.

Big Brother’s Watching (Prince of Tennis)

It is not uncommonly known that my thirteen-year-old brother, Yuuta, is embarrassed by me. I am only a year older than he is, and so I’ve always felt protective of him, and wanted us to be close. It hasn’t worked out that way, for reasons I’m still not certain of. Partially, I know it’s due to my reputation as a tensai, an ace tennis player, and as an excellent player himself, Yuuta resents being compared to me. Moreover, though, I think it’s because I tease him. To me, it’s good-natured fun, but Yuuta calls it something else and accuses me of flirting with him. I’ll concede to that accusation, but I really don’t mean anything inappropriate by it. I’m just trying to show my little brother how much I love him. I think maybe he’s just a little uptight, but he’ll grow out of that.

Today, though, I was able to show Yuuta my love in an entirely different way. It so happened that I was on the landing when he came into the mansion with that person who manages their team (you know, What’s-His-Name – that kid who accuses me of pretending not to know him.) He was berating Yuuta for something, and I did not like the tone he used in speaking to my brother.

“It was an accident, Mizuki-san,” Yuuta said, looking quite upset. “And I don’t see why it bothers YOU. I’m the one who is going to be in trouble when Sakaki-san finds out!”

The black-haired bitch-in-boy’s-clothing crossed his arms and regarded Yuuta like a judge. “This doesn’t just affect YOU, Yuuta-kun! That scratch on Sakaki-san’s car means you’ll be punished -- quite possibly with being grounded and missing the tennis matches tomorrow! St. Rudolph NEEDS you, and you’re going to let us down!”

“I tried to catch the bike before it fell over, maybe Sakaki-san will understand that,” Yuuta said without much hope.

“Ha!” sneered The Creature from the Purple Lagoon. “With the length of THAT scratch on his prized Porsche, there’s no way he’ll be forgiving!” He paused and twisted a lock of hair thoughtfully around his finger. “Maybe we’ll be lucky and he’ll just spank you – you can still make the games then.”

It took everything in me not to drop something heavy onto that person’s pointed head from above, but instead I left the scene and went looking for Sakaki-san. I found him in the music room, playing the piano. It was lovely and I was loathe to interrupt, but I had to do so before Yuuta found him first.

“Excuse me, Sakaki-san, I have a confession to make.”

The Hyotei teacher stopped playing and regarded me with a frown. “What is it, Syuusuke-kun?”

“I accidentally scratched your car with my bike just now in the garage. I apologize, and will gladly pay for the damage.” I wrung my hands and did my best to look contrite.

“How bad a scratch is it?” he asked, his voice tight.

“Pretty bad,” I said, although I could only imagine such was the case as I hadn’t actually seen it. “I’m sorry.”

He stood up from the bench and headed out. “Go to your room, Syuusuke. I want to go look at this myself.”

I obeyed, hoping that Yuuta and his teammate were no longer in the foyer, lest they say something to ruin my plan.

A few minutes later and Sakaki-san came into my room. His expression was grim.

“That’s no little scratch you put on it,” he said. “It won’t be cheap to fix, and who knows if it will look like new afterwards.”

I hung my head. “I understand. Again, I’m sorry.” Inside, I was relieved. He didn’t know about Yuuta’s involvement.

“I appreciate that you owned up to your responsibility, Syuusuke-kun, but I’m still going to have to punish you for your carelessness around other peoples’ belongings.” He pulled out my desk chair and sat down. “Come here.”

For all my bravery, I wasn’t looking forward to this. I walked over to him and he made a motion indicating I should take down my pants. I did so, telling myself that I was doing it for Yuuta, and any sacrifice of pride was worth protecting him.

He took me over his lap and gave my bare backside a hard swat. I gasped out loud. The next whack caused me to make a short outcry. Already I could tell this was going to be bad.

I tried, I really tried not to make much noise, because I certainly didn’t want anyone else to hear what was going on and peek into my room. It wasn’t easy, though, and a few times, it was just impossible. Especially near the end, when I had already been spanked ten times and Sakaki-san was winding up with the last four.

“I trust *WHACK* that you will never *WHACK* be so careless *WHACK* with your bicycle again!” *WHACK*

I broke down into soft sobbing. I hurt and was humiliated and somehow I kept thinking this had to be all the fault of that St. Rudolph manager.

Sakaki-san helped me up and aided me in getting dressed, then gave me a brief one-armed hug (which is actually a lot from him – he’s one of the least demonstrative men in the world.) “Don’t worry about the expense – I’ll pay for it myself. It’s worth it if you’ve learned a lesson.”

“Yes, sir,” I said softly, wiping my eyes.

He patted me on the shoulder and left me alone. I stretched out on my bed and prayed for sleep.

I guess my wish was granted, because when I heard Yuuta calling my name, I hadn’t even realized he’d entered the room. I looked up sleepily and felt a twinge in my backside that made me wince. “Yuuta?”

“I know what you did,” he told me, his voice having that usual sound of annoyance it does whenever he talks to me lately. “I was going to confess to Sakaki-san and I overheard him telling Dr. McCoy about it. You didn’t have to.”

I propped myself up on my elbows. “You didn’t tell Sakaki-san the truth, did you?”

“How could I?” he asked incredulously. “If I had, he would have punished you again for lying!”

I lowered my gaze to my pillow. I usually tried not to let it show how much his attitude toward me hurt, but I was sore and vulnerable right then. “Please don’t be angry with me,” I whispered. I felt a fresh tear slip down my cheek and drip onto the sheet.

I heard Yuuta sigh and sit down beside me. Then I felt his hand on my bottom. I jumped slightly and looked at him in surprise, but he was frowning in concentration. I realized then he was using his Changechild power of Healing on me.

“That should be good,” he said finally, sitting back. He shook his head and smiled wryly. “You DO remember how fast my own body heals injuries now, right? If I’d been spanked, the pain would have been gone in seconds. You really didn’t have to do this.”

“Yes, I did,” I insisted. “You’re my little brother and I’ll always do whatever I can to spare you pain, however brief it may be.”

There was silence between us for a few moments, then he smiled genuinely.

“Thanks, Niisan. I owe you. And don’t tell me I don’t.”

I brightened. “Does that mean we can go on a date this weekend?”

Yuuta got that flat-eyed look I’m so familiar with. “Get some rest,” he muttered, and left the room. I giggled and lay my head back down.

Awww...That was so cute! XD That's so like Fuji to do that for Yuuta! And I simply LOVED the part when he thinks to himself, "[...]you know, What’s-His-Name – that kid who accuses me of pretending not to know him[...]The black-haired bitch-in-boy’s-clothing[...] The Creature from the Purple Lagoon[...]" HILARIOUS! Oh gosh, I was giggling like a madwoman, :p. And it was so sweet that Fuji and Yuuta finally got to have a heart-to-heart moment at the end! Awesome story as always! ^_^
Thank you very much. :) I actually had a productive writing day today, which was nice for a change. :D
