Sprefvent - Compilation 68 (Crossover)

The following wasn't written as a fic, but rather as (edited) excerpts from a spanking RPG called ‘Spanking Refugee Vent’ or ‘Sprefvent’ for short. Since the Sept 2009 re-set of the game, I’m playing characters from Koishite Akuma, Kamen Rider W, and RL performers. Same-sex relationships may be included, ages are altered; nothing is necessarily canon. Please note that although spanking is the main topic in the RPG, characters are allowed to vent about other things, so not ALL excerpts may contain spanking.

Sprefvent - Compilation 68

I normally wouldn't voluntarily confess anything to Kaito – I mean, why bother? I’m not used to him being a real disciplinarian to me. I'd say that my private business has never been his business, but he always made it so, just for the hell of it. But still, before I came here, he only ever hit me once (back-handing me across the face, because he was frustrated that I was starving myself to death.)

However, that last incident after moving here where I was late and he spanked me changed everything. I could no longer assume Kaito would overlook everything I do. I figured that would be especially unlikely if I went up to him and forced him to take notice, which is what I now had to do. Everyone else was going to their own adults about what happened when we went poltergeist-hunting with the Winchester boys (such as wrecking parts of the house, nearly losing Philippe to the ghost, etc.) and that meant I had to go through with this.

"Hey, Kaito," I started.

"Can you hear Mr. Winchester shouting?" he interrupted in amusement.

"Of course, I can. I've got vampire hearing, too, you know. Listen, about that….”

"It sounds like the boys are in big trouble," he remarked.

"I know," I said, trying not to sound annoyed. "I was there."

Now he looked at me curiously. "Where?"

I took a deep breath, although I don't always need to breathe. "I was with them when they got in trouble. I mean, I was a part of it."

He raised a slow eyebrow. "Tell me."

We went to my room, and I did, the whole story (leaving names out of it.) "I was just as involved as the Winchesters," I concluded.

"So you were," he agreed, then leaned back in his chair, looking up at the ceiling. "The nice thing about being a vampire is that you can't be killed. But of course, the other children who were with you could've been, and then there's the matter of the vandalism. Not to mention all of you doing something that you knew Mr. Winchester would have forbidden."

"Yes, yes, and yes.” Nerves were getting to me and I was unable now to keep that edge of annoyance from my voice. "Are you going to punish me or not?"

He laughed. "Are you asking for punishment, Ruka?"

Oh, hell. "I'm not asking anything!" I snapped, although I just had. "I'm just telling you what happened."

"And leaving me to decide, hm? Well, I suppose that IS my job as a responsible guardian." He sat up straighter and looked up at me, all trace of humour gone. "Kuromiya Ruka, I sentence you to a long, hard spanking, bare-bottomed, over my lap. Now."

Yeah, being a good guy sucks, but fair is fair. I already knew the Winchesters wouldn't get out of this unscathed, so why should I? Still, as I lay half-naked over Kaito's knees, with him whaling on my exposed rear end, I kind of wished I wasn't so honourable.

I was hurting a lot when I finally got up. I lifted a hand to brush a bit of hair from my eyes and was shocked to feel wetness on my cheek. Had I actually been crying?

Kato stood and put a hand on my shoulder. "Are you all right?"

I gave him an incredulous look. " I just got spanked, Kaito!"

His eyes met mine. "That's not what's bothering you."

I looked away. "When one of us was taken by the ghost, I thought it would kill him. I feel guilty for helping encourage everyone."

The hand on my shoulder patted it. "You don't have to feel guilty anymore —that's what the punishment was for. But," he added, "You could apologize to your friends, and to Mr. Winchester for knowingly breaking his rules."

I already know you guys wouldn't want an apology; we were all in this together and all that.

"My friends are probably busy with their own adults," I said. "We all knew what we were getting into." I shuddered. "And I don't really want to go anywhere near Mr. Winchester when he's in a foul mood."

"Did you think this was a suggestion?" Kaito asked. He began steering me toward the door.

So we went looking for Mr. Winchester, and found him in the living room alone. I hoped Sam and Dean were okay, but didn't think that was very likely.

"Winchester-san," Kaito said, "Ruka has something he would like to say."

Mr. Winchester looked at me. "Yes, Ruka?"

"I, uh, I'm sorry about my part in what happened. For going there despite knowing you'd never allow it." Kaito concluded my speech by shoving my head down into a bow. My humiliation was complete.

"I appreciate the apology, Ruka," Mr. Winchester said. "And I apologize to you for my sons’ thoughtlessness at involving all of you. Things could have gotten much worse there."

"We all took our own chances," I said firmly. " I don't blame Sam and Dean at all."

And I meant that, so don’t you guys go blaming yourselves (yeah, I know, I admitted to guilt of my own, but if my punishment was supposed to absolve all that, and so was yours.)

As you well know, after the poltergeist incident, it was mutually agreed that we would tell our adults what happened. As you also know, I have no adult of my own here.

I decided to call Shotaro. He supposed to be an adult, although our relationship is not parent-child – we’re partners. But going to anyone else felt extremely strange. I guess I just didn’t feel I knew the adults here well enough yet to trust them in this situation.

After we exchanged greetings and he'd updated me on a couple of our latest cases, I got down to the point of my call.

"Shotaro," I began, "a few of the kids and I did something yesterday —"

"Ah, you're making friends and participating in normal teenage activities, good!"

"You’re not only half-boiled, you're only half-right," I teased. "This activity was anything but normal." I went on to tell him everything that happened last night.

"Well," he said slowly, "that was quite an adventure."

"Yes, being kidnapped by a ghost was unlike fighting the Duponts. This ghost didn't have a physical body I could attack, and yet it could attack US."

"It sounds like dangerous business for a bunch of inexperienced kids to be up to."

I was somewhat affronted by that. "The Winchesters are most certainly NOT inexperienced. They know what they're doing in these matters as much as we do with the Duponts."

"Then why did Sam and Dean know before they even started that their father wouldn't approve? He must reason to think it wouldn't be a good idea and look! He was right!"

"Very amusing," I said dryly, then sighed. "Anyway, after what happened, the boys decided that they would confess to their father."

"Before he found out from the homeowners, you mean."

"Well, yes. And it only seemed fair that we all confess as well."

" I see. So who did you confess to?"

I facedpalmed. Shotaro is actually a decent detective, but sometimes clueless about obvious things.

"No one. I called you."

"Oh!"

There was silence while he mulled that over and I began feeling like an idiot. It was not a feeling I was familiar with.

"I should go now," I stated finally and went to hang up.

"No, wait!" he said, then paused. "Philippe, I think I may have made a mistake in sending you there."

I nearly dropped the phone. "What?!"

"I thought it would be best for both safety’s sake and so that you would get to mingle with other kids," he said with a sigh. "But it's clear that you still feel something missing. There’s no guardian there that you feel close to."

It was as I’d suspected. It was true that there was no bond between myself or any of the adults at the school, unless you want to count how I’d angered Logan with the whole ‘skunk bear’ thing or Lensherr-sensei by grabbing him to keep him from erasing my research. That wasn't the same thing at all. The other kids – at least the ones involved in the ghost raid — all had adults who loved them enough to set boundaries.

"There's only one adult I’m close to," I said softly. "He's a great partner, but I'm not so sure about his parenting skills."

"Oiy!" Shotaro protested. "I'd make a better parent for you than anyone! Don't I know you better than anybody else? Aren't I used to your cheeky, know-it-all comments and understand what you really mean?"

"I DO know it all," I said, calmly, but with a smile he couldn't see. "And yes, you understand me. But you're right about my being with the other kids, Shotaro. I have friends my own age now, and I'm learning what kids do for fun."

"Yeah, disobey their parents," he chuckled ruefully.

"Isn't there a solution that doesn't involve my having to leave?"

Another pause. "Maybe. I’ll talk to Professor Xavier about it. In the meantime, try not to get into any more trouble."

Then he was gone. I felt uneasy and somewhat dissatisfied. I didn't seem any closer to solving my problem of having an adult to go to than I did before.

In the next hour or so, I read Ruka's account of how things had gone with Kaito, and was going downstairs when Mr. Winchester met me at the bottom. "Philippe, can we talk for a minute?"

"Sure." I followed him to the living room and sat down. I hoped I didn’t look as uneasy as I felt, knowing from the tell-tale sounds earlier how he’d punished his sons. I glanced at the belt and wondered how much it would hurt.

"The boys told me what happened. Are you all right after your supernatural experience?"

He looked genuinely concerned, so I thought about my answer carefully. "It was interesting," I admitted. "I'm used to fighting ugly monsters, but not ghosts. You have my utmost respect for doing battle with forces that are so unpredictable."

He gave me a direct look. "That's exactly why the boys shouldn't have involved any of you. It's hard enough watching your own back without having others at risk."

"We talked them into it, and for that I apologize." I stood up and bowed.

"I appreciate that, but right now I'm mostly concerned about your state of mind. Most people don't have such an easy time of it after being kidnapped by a ghost."

"I'm okay, really," I assured him. "It was good for my research."

I think Winchester-san was now convinced I was lacking in basic common sense, but I couldn't finish our conversation because at that moment a familiar voice from the doorway said, "Philippe."

I spun around in surprise. "Shotaro!"

He stepped forward and tipped his hat to Mr. Winchester. "You must be John Winchester. I'm Hidari Shotaro, Philippe's guardian."

"My WHAT?!" I exclaimed as the two of them shook hands. "What happened to 'partner'?!"

He grinned at me. "We'll always be partners, but now I'm also your guardian. Professor Xavier and I talked it over and I'm going to be joining the staff here."

"WHAT?!" That seem to be my new favourite word. "What can YOU teach anybody?"

"Sleuthing techniques, of course," he said with a wink. "I'm sure there's plenty that a hard-boiled detective such as myself can teach those kids that will help them in fighting crime." He threw an arm around my shoulders. "Naturally, I’ll move the agency here – the professor says there's plenty of space underground for our vehicles, and you can set up more whiteboards down there like at home."

"But why?" I asked in confusion.

His smile was understanding now. "You said it yourself, Philippe; I'm the only adult you're close to. For you to really get the ‘normal teenager’ experience I want you to have here, you need a guardian who loves you to rely on. Who else could that be but me? We’re each other’s only family."

"Shotaro …." It was just his name, but I'm sure he could tell how I felt from the way I said it.

He ruffled my hair, then turned back to Mr. Winchester. "I'm sorry about Philippe's part in interfering with your job. He'll be appropriately punished."

"WHAT?!" There was that word again, only this time it came out as a squeak.

"I'm just glad we didn't lose him, because it could easily have happened that way," Mr. Winchester said seriously.

"I know," Shotaro answered in a sober tone. "I don't know what I would've done if that happened." He patted my shoulder. "Come on, Philippe. Let's go to your room."

We went up and I closed the door behind us, leaning back against it and folding my arms. "Shotaro, you're not serious about punishing me, are you? What would you know about discipline? Of ANY kind."

"Ha ha," he replied dryly. "Very funny. I may not know anything about discipline, but I know about you." He sat back on my bed and put his hands behind his head. "You called me because you wanted someone who cared about you to be here for you in all respects, even the unpleasant ones. Right?"

"Yeesssss," I said slowly. I wasn’t sure I liked where this was going.

"Then let's get to it," he answered and sat up. "As punishment for encouraging the Winchesters to do something wrong as well as putting yourself in danger unnecessarily, you are forbidden from accessing the World Library for a week."

"WHAT?!" (ah, good old 'what', – what would I do without you?) "But, but, but …!”

"Of course, we'll have to make an exception if we absolutely need it for a case," he continued. "But otherwise, NO access. I’ll have to trust you, since the Library is in your head, but I'm serious. No access, or I'll have to take stricter methods." He gazed at me pointedly. “Professor Xavier told me how Winchester-san punished his sons. Consider yourself lucky, Philippe.”

I held up my hands. "Okay, okay! I get it, no accessing the Library!"

He smiled. "Glad we understand each other, Aibou."

That means ‘partner.' I'm not sure how it happened, but it seems I've now got what I felt I was lacking. And I'm happy for it, really I am.

I think.

Fighting ghosts. That has to be hard. It's a good thing that Philippe got out all right. Looks like he'll have someone to answer to now as well.
It was a pretty intense situation with an angry ghost that involved a door behind ripped off its hinges (by Ruka), a window being broken (by Spiderman), and the ghost kidnapping Philippe, who saved himself with a circle of salt. Fun times. XD
O.o Wow. Things have been busy in the mansion.
