The following wasn't written as a fic, but rather as (edited) excerpts from a spanking RPG called ‘Spanking Refugee Vent’ or ‘Sprefvent’ for short. Since the Sept 2009 re-set of the game, I’m playing characters from Koishite Akuma, Kamen Rider W, and RL performers. Same-sex relationships may be included, ages are altered; nothing is necessarily canon. Please note that although spanking is the main topic in the RPG, characters are allowed to vent about other things, so not ALL excerpts may contain spanking.

Last night I went out. Not a big deal, I'm used to wandering around at night; after all, I'm a vampire. I wasn't worried about timing, because I've never had to before. When I was living with my ‘family’ at the gyoza restaurant, they didn't keep track of my comings and goings. Anything I did, they always responded by smiling and saying, "Well, he's a boy, after all. He'll be fine."
So when I when out last night, I didn't think twice about having to come back at any particular time.
It was four-thirty in the morning when I teleported into my bedroom. I know this only because Kaito was sitting on my bed, and the first words out of his mouth were, "It’s four-thirty, Ruka.”
"I have a clock," I said, unzipping my hoodie and taking it off. "You didn't have to hang around here to tell me that."
"Well, yes, I did." He stood up. "Ruka, do you remember your first day here?"
"Yeah, it wasn't that long ago. So?"
"So you recall our first conversation with Professor Xavier?"
"What about it?" I sounded annoyed now. I hate when people play games like this and Kaito knows it.
"Do you remember when he mentioned the rules of this school?"
"Will you just spit it out already?" I snapped.
His expression turned serious. "The Professor told you that all students had to be back in the school by ten o’clock on weekdays."
"But I’m a boy, after all," I replied, jokingly mimicking Acchan, the nice, albeit naïve, lady I'd lived with. When Kaito remained silent, I looked up at him and saw he wasn't smiling. "Wait, you aren't taking that seriously, are you?"
Kaito heaved a heavy sigh. “It was the agreement we made when we came here that we DO take that seriously."
"I never agreed to any of this."
"You came with me."
I frowned. "You wouldn't let me stay with you at your place after I left Acchan-tachi.”
"I came here with you, didn’t I? Because this is the best place for you to be a normal teenager." He looked serious again. "And part of that is punishment when you break the rules."
At that word ‘punishment’ I had a quick flash of what happened to Warren recently and felt a sudden chill. But there was no way Kaito would seriously consider THAT ….
He flipped his cloak back over his shoulders and began rolling up his sleeves. "Prepare yourself, Ruka."
I gave him an incredulous look and was about to ask ‘Prepare for WHAT?!’ But didn't want to hear the answer. "Get out of my room!" I pointed at the door.
Big mistake. Kaito seized the opportunity along with my outstretched arm and sat down, pulling me over his lap.
"Are you out of your – OW!" I cried as his hand connected with my backside.
"You knew the rules, you ignored them," he said simply, whacking me again. Vampire healing should have meant the pain would disappear fast, but it didn't. It was an unpleasant realization that my healing factor didn't apply to this kind of injury.
I struggled — no way was I going to accept this calmly! But even my strength couldn't overcome Kaito’s. I still tried my hardest, especially when he yanked my pants and underwear down.
"Hey!" I protested, nearly getting loose for a moment before he wrapped his arm around me like an iron band.
“I’m sorry (WHACK!), Ruka, (WHACK!) but if we’re going to live here (WHACK!) we all have to (WHACK!) abide by the rules.” He bore down and started walloping me hard and fast.
I couldn’t struggle anymore – not just because he was holding me unyieldingly, but because I hurt just that much. Kaito wasn’t holding back, even though this was my first spanking in this afterlife. He meant business.
At least my eyes were dry.
With one last solid whack, Kaito lifted me off his knees. I turned away and got dressed quickly, knowing my face was as red as my butt.
"Ruka," Kaito's tone was gentle, "do you know why I changed you?"
My own voice sounded stiff. “You said you wanted someone to spend eternity with."
"Yes," he said, "I was lonely. I didn't need a lover — I could have those any time. I wanted a relationship more lasting than that. Someone I could guide and teach, share my four hundred years of experience with." He touched my hair. "I hadn't considered a child, but when I found you washed up on shore, nearly dead, I knew you would be the one."
I turned slowly to look at him. "Then why?” I asked in hurt confusion. "Why do this to me?"
He met my eyes. "Because I care about you." He sighed and put his hands on my shoulders. "Ruka, don't you understand? I gave you life, I gave you a name, I gave you a home – what does that sound like to you?"
"I don't know," I said honestly.
He smiled softly. "You're my son. I didn't realize it myself at first – hell, it took ten years. In those years, I taught you how to be a vampire. Now it's time to teach you how to be a kid. MY kid."
So much for the dry eyes. Bastard.
Kaito tactfully ignored that I was on the verge of becoming a blubbering idiot and continued, “I believe this school is going to be good for you. The other kids are nice and friendly, and maybe they'll even let you feed on them once in awhile—"
"Kaito!" I yelled.
He laughed. "Joking, joking! But seriously, here you'll have everything you need to be a normal teenager."
"You know," I smiled ruefully, rubbing my backside, " I didn't exactly need THIS."
He chuckled and nodded. "Oh yes, you did!"
So that’s how I ended up becoming a normal kid in this school. Or as normal as I can ever be.
