Chiaki yawned as he heard Jii call the Shinkengers to breakfast. With a groan, he dragged himself out of bed.
When he arrived in the main room, everyone stared, then the giggling started.
“That’s a good look for you,” Mako remarked.
Chiaki turned toward the mirror. His face was white, his lips and nose bright red, and there were black diamonds around his eyes.
“What the --?!”
“For drawing on all of them,” Takeru said, motioning as if he were writing the character for ‘clown’ with his Shodophone. “A fitting punishment.”
Chiaki considered getting angry, but instead he laughed.
