Haruka's Fanfiction

Yuki took his time preparing for this date with Ritsu. Their relationship was still new, and he was very aware that the shy monkey was easily upset by anything that might indicate he’d done something wrong.

Knowing how effeminate Ritsu usually wore a furisode, Yuki decided that he would make a special effort to dress in a nice kimono and look traditional alongside his boyfriend. When he left the house, even Shigure remarked that he and Ritsu would look good together. Not that he cared about his opinion.

When he arrived at Ritsu’s dorm room and knocked, the door was opened by a beautiful young man wearing a suit, his long hair pulled back by a black ribbon.

“Oh dear!” Ritsu’s lip trembled, but before he could go into full-blown freak-out mode, Yuki smiled and touched a finger to his lips.

“Looks like we both had the same idea. I think that says a lot for our compatibility, don’t you?”

Ritsu’s tears never fell. He smiled instead and invited Yuki inside.
