Sprefvent - Compilation 44 (Crossover)

The following wasn't written as a fic, but rather as (edited) excerpts from a spanking RPG called ‘Spanking Refugee Vent’ or ‘Sprefvent’ for short. In it I play characters from various fandoms including Prince of Tennis, Death Note, Garo, Fruits Basket, Gekirangers, Kamen Rider Den-O, etc. The PoT characters are based around my Changechildren AU fic, and so are not necessarily canon. Same-sex relationships are included. Please note that although spanking is the main topic in the RPG, characters are allowed to vent about other things, so not ALL excerpts may contain spanking.

I guess I should apologize to those of you who had breakfast in the dining room this morning. We Imagin didn't feel like eating in our own suite, so we were there (all of us in human form), and Deneb was running around serving everyone like usual. When he put that plate of bacon and eggs in front of me, I started eating happily, along with everyone else.

The room was buzzing with conversation and I wasn't paying much attention to anything in particular until I heard someone say, "I'm surprised he's eating that, since he loves animals so much."

I stopped, a slice of crisp bacon in my fingers, and looked up. What did breakfast have to do with animals? I wondered. "Kame-chan," I said, turning to Urataros, "did you hear what someone just said about eating and animals?"

He hesitated, then answered, "Yes, I did."

"What were they talking about?"

He gave me a charming smile. "It's nothing for you to worry about, Ryuuta. Just finish your breakfast and forget it."

Momotaros looked up suddenly. "What?! Geez, Turtle, do you have to lie about EVERYTHING?! Tell the Snot-Nosed Brat the truth!"

"The truth about what?" I asked uncomfortably. I had the feeling I wasn't going to like this.

Momotaros' neon red eyes bore into mine. "About where steak comes
from. And hamburgers, pork, and," he nodded toward my hand, "bacon."

My voice was very small, "Where?"

Kintaros' strong hand fell on my shoulder and I turned toward him. "It all comes from animals, Ryuuta," he said gently.

The bacon fell from my fingers. "It does?"

"ALL meat comes from animals," Momotaros told me, staring at me in disbelief. "What did you think a chicken or turkey sandwich was made of?"

"I - I thought it was just a name ...." I was shaking. Memories of hamburgers, hot dogs, roast beef -- all things I'd eaten just recently. And bacon! I stared down at the remains of what I'd already consumed and suddenly knew I was going to be sick. I leaped up and ran from the room so fast, I heard my chair crash to the
ground behind me.

I don't know what might have happened in the dining room after that -- I never went back. I was still throwing up and crying hard by the time Urataros' arms encircled my trembling shoulders.

"I'm sorry, Ryuuta," he said softly. "I thought you would be happier not knowing."

I leaned against him and sobbed. I felt like the worst kind of traitor.

I guess there's nothing I can do about what I've eaten in the past, but I'll never eat meat again, that's for sure. I had a long talk with Deneb (who usually handles the cooking for us) and found out that there are vegetarians and vegans and they're different. He was worried I would become obsessive and would make people stop being my friend by bugging them about their eating meat (Deneb's very worried about everyone having friends), but I won't do that. I'll be a vegetarian, but I won't interfere in what others' eat.

Even if it still makes me sad inside to know what they're eating.

Remember how I said the other day that I was sure someone had been taking my bike out joyriding? I've now got PROOF!

Oz and I just got called down to the Library, and the Professor was waiting for us with Logan and Mystique there, too.

"Gentlemen," the Professor said gravely, "would you care to explain this?" He held out a photograph to me and I took it, frowning. In the picture (which wasn't all that clear) was a couple on a motorcycle that looked familiar -- REALLY familiar.

"That's my motorcycle!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah," Logan said as if that were obvious, "and that's your motorcycle going well over the speed limit, which is why we got this picture sent to us by the police."

I looked up and saw the accusation in all of their eyes. "Wait a second!" I said. "That may be my bike, but that's not ME on it!"

"Now, Rei," Mystique began, "who else would it be on your bike but you and Oz?"

"He's telling the truth; that's not us!" Oz declared.

"Listen," I tried to stay calm but my voice was shaking, "I've been suspecting for a couple of days that someone has been joyriding on my bike -- didn't I say that?" I looked at Oz who nodded firmly. "And look at the time stamp on this -- Sunday at seven-fifteen! That COULDN'T be us, we weren't even here! Jason and Richard came down to take us out for dinner that day, remember? We didn't get home until after eight!"

"I can vouch for that," Silva added.

The adults all looked at each other and the Professor sighed. "I'm sorry we accused the two of you, but the circumstances were suspect."

"Why didn't you tell us someone was taking out yer bike?" Logan demanded.

"Because I hadn't had time to rig up a way to prove it or catch anybody," I told him. "I didn't want it to turn into a witchhunt."

"Well, SOMEONE is in this picture on your bike," Mystique stated. "And they're responsible for this speeding ticket. We need to find out who they are."

"No point in asking the kids," Logan snorted. "No one's gonna voluntarily admit to it."

"There's one kid we could ask," Oz said slowly. "L. He's a detective, right?"

We all nodded. "I'll call him," the Professor said.

So that's where we're at; the case is in L's hands now and I'm depending on him to find out who's been taking my bike out and nearly got Oz and I punished for speeding!

Rei

--

I’m going to begin this with a sincere apology. Primarily to Rei, Kyo, and Yuki, but also to the rest of you, whom we also deceived.

The ones in the police photograph were Light-kun and myself.

After we caught Kyo and Yuki on the motorcycle and they had left the garage without it, I walked around it, smoothing my hand over the seat and the handlebars. Light-kun asked what I was thinking, and I told him that although I knew how to drive a motorcycle, I had never bothered to purchase one. Seeing how much fun Rei, Oz, Remy, and the others have on their bikes with their partners was making me wonder if it might be worth it to finally do so. Light-kun said that he had never ridden on a cycle before, but he had always wanted to, and would gladly accompany me on mine should I decide to get one.

My hand stopped moving over the bike when it came to the keys in the ignition. I tilted my head thoughtfully, considering them, then gave Light-kun a sideways glance. “Are you thinking what I am thinking?”

He looked perplexed for a moment, then I saw his gaze go to where my hand was. “L, did we not just stop Yuki and Kyo from ‘borrowing’ Rei’s bike?”

“Yes, Light-kun, we did.”

“But now you’re thinking of ‘borrowing’ it yourself?”

“Yes, Light-kun, I am.” I looked at him. “A motorcycle is a big expense, and while I have money to spare I see no reason in investing in something I may not use. We can borrow this bike and find out first of all if you enjoy riding on one, and secondly, whether we both enjoy it enough to purchase one for our own use.”

He nodded slowly. “Yes, we could do that. I assume you’re a careful bike driver?”

“Yes, of course.”

He smiled. “Then let’s go.”

I will not go into details about the ride – those are pretty obvious from the picture – but when we came home, Light-kun and I agreed that we had had more than enough fun to warrant buying a bike of our own. We made plans to go out shopping for one this weekend.

In retrospect, we should have replaced the gas. Although it would not have kept the truth from coming out, it would have been the polite – and smart – thing to do.

But here I am, sounding like I am still trying to get away with something. I assure you, that is not the case, and I am truly repentant. In fact, before writing this, Light-kun and I went to confess to the adults first.

They were not impressed with our having ‘borrowed’ the bike or speeding, but the fact that we did not confess earlier, when they asked me to find the culprits, made them angrier and even more disappointed. I was promptly bent over the desk and relieved of my jeans, then spanked repeatedly by Logan’s firm hand. I was loathe to allow this considering what happened the last time he punished us, but I was smart enough to keep my mouth shut, except when the spanking became almost too much to bear. I had not counted the whacks, but I knew they were more than the usual; probably because of the duplexity of the crime. I know I made some kind of noise – a gasp, perhaps, or maybe even a sob near the end. Tears were present. It could not be helped, especially when I had to witness Light-kun being punished right after me.

I do not expect anyone to forgive me for the untruths that I allowed to be spread nor the ones I told myself. I can only apologize and hope that someday, I might earn back your trust and friendship.

Poor Ryuuta! His reaction reminds me of Jezebel's, from the manga Godchild, reaction. Except his experience was worse than Ryuuta's.

I wonder if L and Light are still going to get a motorcycle.
I've not heard of Godchild, but knowing Ryuuta's love for animals, I couldn't imagine him reacting any other way.

You know, I don't think they ever did ....
This was a great chapter. I loved Ryuuta he is so cute.
And L. (shakes head) You think a genius of his caliber would be smarter.
It occurred to me that someone as crazy about animals as Ryuuta might find his eating habits to be a big shock.

Poor L, but nobody can be perfect ALL the time. ;)
