Fandom: Prince of Tennis drama in Chinese!

I just had to ask if any of my readers who are Prince of Tennis fans have been watching the Chinese live action drama? [info]nisshi and I love it (we've only seen up to episode nine so far, but we're still plugging away at them!) We love the way that the guys have been given so much more emotion (Tezuka smiles? Kaidoh laughs? @_@) and less inhibitions (more touchie-feelie with each other, yay!)

It's feeding my poor starved PoT inspirations again. ^_^

OMG! I heard about this-awhile ago, I believe- and I've been trying to find it to watch. I want to see it so bad, cause it sounds so amazing.

Where did you find it? Is it amazing?

My wife found a torrent about a week ago -- all 22 raw episodes at once -- but someone has started subbing it, too, although they haven't gotten far yet.

It was a little shocking to find out they were all in college, and at first I wasn't sure I'd be able to tell some of them apart, but a few episodes in, I had it down. There's a community for it on LiveJournal: http://community.livejournal.com/dramapuri/profile but they don't have a whole lot there yet (beware of spoilers.)

Seeing the boys cry over each other is just too good to miss.

I thought she was just so cool; for awhile i wanted to race cause of her.

is the drama only 22 episodes? that seems so short but then most japanese dramas are only 10 or so episodes. I watched part of the first episode and I already love it. Its nice to see a different take on it.

Finally got around to watching episode one, and ohmigod. I'm...I don't know what I am but I likes it a lot *w* Thank you so much for sharing this wonderfulness. Gaah. I wanna watch more, but I'm being banished away to sleep-land.

We were just as stunned as you are that we liked it so much, and that seems to be the consensus with everyone who sees it. Thankfully someone is starting to sub it, because there are SO many scenes that aren't in the usual genres we've seen of PoT, and I wanna know what everyone is saying!
