Dance Challenge (Kamen Rider Den-O)

The music came out of nowhere.

At first Sakurai Yuuto figured someone was passing by with a boom box or maybe just an MP3 player that was blasting loudly enough for all to hear. However, when he turned and saw the first breakdancers appear, followed by another and another until he was surrounded by them, the hip hop music kept playing with no visible source.

There was a ringleader to the dancers, the best of the bunch. He was familiar and yet not. Nogami Ryoutaro, the pathetic, weak excuse for Den-O. He was different today, obviously possessed by one of his many Imagin, and one that was apparently a bratty kid who could both dance and control others. A dangerous combination.

Why couldn’t Nogami control his own Imagin? He knew who Yuuto was, so it wasn’t his own idea to have these punks trapping him in the middle of some modern war dance circle. This was the Imagin’s own doing, and Nogami was just along for the ride, as helpless here as he seemed to be in avoiding bad luck. Maybe Yuuto’s own Imagin had bad habits, like embarrassing him by telling people he was sweet when he wasn’t, and sneaking hated shitake into almost everything he cooked, but at least Deneb didn’t steal his body without permission.

Much.

In any case, Nogami’s Imagin had just made his intentions clear – he wanted to defeat him. He was in a dangerous situation and it was time to get out of there. He didn’t want to still be around when the strange, unsourced music ended.
